BISON SWAMP

Set deep within a reserve forest in Tamil Nadu, with no access roads, no telephone network for communication, no electricity and with wild animal (and Naxals) movement through the site, this was one of the most challenging projects of ours to date.

 

The beauty/highlight of the plot was its remoteness. This 'remoteness' became the key factor in evolving the design of the farmhouse that is proposed.

 

The structure was designed such that it could be built remotely, knocked down, transported in smaller 4X4 vehicles and assembled at site in the shortest possible time.
