JAYAKARAN RESIDENCE
BENGALURU
The adjacent plots of the three senior siblings required similar solutions to suit their needs. Variations in level differences and steps were avoided giving a single floor design.
A space was allocated as a Zen garden considering the clients profession as a geologist and his interest in Japanese gardens. The linear plot is designed as an array of different cubes in line varying in scale as per the requirement of the spaces.
There is a single connecting passage from the start to end of the plot. The entrance is defined by planar composition of stone, slate and a accent yellow wall. Bamboo & black steel pergola is used at the entrance.
